While the midday heat sweeps through the city, the historic buildings and walls in the Old Town provide shade. On the city tours "The eternal thermal spring" or "The water", you can escape the sun along the Limmat and learn more about Baden's DNA of water. The public city tours take place on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm and on Sunday mornings at 11 am.

A delicious ice cream is a must on a stroll through the city! There are several places in Baden that serve ice-cold treats. In the self-service gelateria "Mia Gelateria", you can create your own ice cream with countless toppings. Or you can try one of the unusual creations such as sour cherry or popcorn caramel from "Kalte Lust", which are waiting for you right on Schlossbergplatz. You can experience that dolce vita feeling with a delicious coup at BAL'S Caffè on Unterer Bahnhofsplatz. You can let yourself be carried away by the colourful summer hustle and bustle.

Round off the perfect summer's day and enjoy the atmosphere in the lively alleyways of the old town or the sunset on the Limmat with an aperitif. The Triebguet Bar - a legacy of a past trip to Baden - is located directly on the Limmat and offers a marvellous view of the city from its outdoor deck. Café Kajüte is located on the other side of the Limmat, picturesquely nestled among the trees. If you are still hungry, a variety of restaurants with their terraces and gardens invite you to enjoy a culinary finale.
