Easy access

Baden is excellently integrated into the public transport and road network. Numerous bus lines that run every ten minutes connect the city with the surrounding communities. In addition, Baden is optimally connected to the Zurich S-Bahn and long-distance transport network.

By train and bus

The direct train to Zurich departs twice an hour. From Zurich central station to Baden takes 15 minutes. From Zurich Airport, it takes 34 minutes and is a direct transit to Baden. To and from Basel takes 50 minutes. The good connection links travellers quickly and easily with European metropolises such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Dortmund, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Paris, Salzburg or Vienna.

The city is directly connected from two sides to the main motorways of German-speaking Switzerland (A1 Zurich – Bern and A3 Chur – Basel). The centre of Baden has excellent infrastructure. 14 multi-storey car parks in the city centre offer over 3,500 parking spaces, a modern parking guidance system makes arriving easier.
