When the leaves turn golden, the days grow shorter and the air smells of autumn, one of Baden's most delicious seasons begins. As well as a colourful landscape, autumn brings hearty dishes, fine game specialities and cosy tavolatas. From the end of September onwards, we present four wonderful restaurants that celebrate autumn with culinary delights.

Waldgasthaus Baldegg – classic game dishes with a modern twist.

From 19 September, the Waldgasthaus Baldegg will be transformed into a meeting place for game lovers. The new autumn menu combines classic game dishes with a modern twist. Of particular note is the saddle of venison for two: tender and aromatic, and sourced directly from local hunters. All the ingredients are sourced from the region, reflecting a deep connection to nature.

Another highlight awaits from 15 to 26 October: the traditional Metzgete Tavolata. Hearty specialities are served in a cosy atmosphere, encouraging guests to share and enjoy the food together. Whether you prefer rich meat dishes or lighter side dishes: Baldegg brings the taste of autumn to your plate.


Hotel BLUME. – game specialities in a charming atmosphere

Located in the heart of Baden, the Hotel BLUME. serves a selection of finely balanced game specialities in October that will delight all the senses. You can enjoy dishes that combine tradition and sophistication in a stylish atmosphere. From tenderly braised game with seasonal side dishes to creative combinations with locally sourced ingredients, the cuisine is sure to impress with its flavour and attention to detail.

Trattoria Il Gallo – Autumn à la bella Italia

If you love Mediterranean charm and southern Italian cuisine, Trattoria Il Gallo is the place for you. Hidden away in a small alleyway on Untere Halde, the restaurant will be serving three autumnal dishes from October onwards. Prepared with heart and creativity, they include a creamy pumpkin risotto that captures the golden flavour of autumn; a velvety pumpkin soup that warms and soothes; and tagliatelle with spicy venison ragout that evokes the forest, game and Italian temperament.

Each dish tells a story of carefully selected ingredients, passion, and the art of combining regional produce with Mediterranean sophistication.


Roter Turm – Autumn cuisine with a regional twist

The Rote Turm celebrates the season with a varied menu that showcases regional ingredients and classic game dishes in style. From tender game ragout with homemade spätzle and traditional venison pepper to creative compositions with mushrooms and pumpkin, the flavours of the season are interpreted here with love and skill.
