Here, the forest grows in its purest form. The Teufelskeller (Devil's Cellar) has been a protected area that has not been exploited since 1987. A variegation of plants and a wide range of animals found their home here. The well-marked hiking trail leads through the middle of the forest, from where you can spot ancient woodland plants and maybe even some of its animal inhabitants. The family-friendly hike begins in the Oberstadt (upper city) district in Baden.
