Ready, set, make plans

The days are getting longer, the temperatures are rising and the sun is shining.
Are you still looking for ideas for summer excursions with the whole family? A wide range of experiences awaits young and old explorers in Baden.

The top 5 for your summer trip

Jungle Expedition - Mini-Safari through the Tüfels-Chäller

There are many beautiful hiking trails to explore around Baden. One of them leads through the "Tüfels-Chäller", an enchanted forest straight out of a fairytale. The area has been a nature reserve since 1989 and, in addition to the official hiking trail - along which, by the way, generous barbecue areas have been placed - it also offers many hidden paths for little and big adventurers. The path to Tüfels-Chäller is well marked from Baden railway station. Here you can print out the hiking map.

Terrassenbad - cooling off for water rats

What could be better than enjoying a swim in the Terrassenbad on a hot summer's day? The spacious grassy lawn offers sun and shade and the children's pool with sun awning and the pirate ship "Badensia" invites the little ones to play. The older ones switch back and forth between the water slide and the wave pool. Are you one of the brave ones who dare to jump from the 10-metre?

By the way: During the summer months (until August), the city library reads storybooks to the little ones every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, weather permitting.

Pumptrack & Skate Park - fun on two wheels

Waves and curves for all kinds of two-wheelers await ambitious skaters, families with children or youngsters. Whether kick or skateboard, roller skate, bike or running bike - the track can be ridden by beginners and advanced skaters with any kind of rolling equipment in a variety of ways. Tight curves allow different route options in all directions. Steep wall curves and action elements offer additional variety and fun and at the same time promote motor skills, balance, dexterity as well as driving safety in everyday life. Drop by the Pumptrack & Skate Park.

Bouba - Klettern, was das Zeug hält

Who doesn't like climbing on chairs, tables, sofas - sometimes even a cupboard has to be climbed on. So that the furniture is spared, it's off to Bouba. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, young or old, you'll find your bouldering paradise on the former Ferro site. The spacious hall offers plenty of space and optimal conditions for a sporting challenge for everyone. The sports facilities also include a street workout park and a fitness area. A bistro rounds off the offer.

Foxtrail - Scavenger Hunt for Sleuths

The fox is sneaking through Baden - who will take up the chase? The fox sets off in search of a particularly energetic particle. The route, peppered with riddles, leads through the historic district and along the waterfront. A puzzle fun for the whole family, where codes have to be cracked and hidden messages found.
