Tea ceremony with Lerie Pemangpo (16.00 hrs)

On the night of Yule, Pemanagpo hosts a storytelling and herbal infusion ceremony that uses herbal infusions and modern fairy tales to create a shared space of reflection, warmth and quiet wonder in a circle. Combining plant knowledge, memories and myths, the gathering invites a brief time-out from the everyday and opens up a shared space to reconnect with caring, magic and the superhuman world.



Concert by Namaka (19.00 hrs)

Constantly in search of change and further development, Namaka are not afraid to rethink every recording. Their music, like a body, is always in motion, experiencing analog and digital, organic and mechanical states. For this solo show, Sophie reshapes Namaka's music in a more intimate way. With a synthesizer and a sample machine, she takes an unagitated tour through this sonic playground and reduces the songs to their essence: the honesty and emotionality of the voice.



Winter Solstice July Night

(also Yule) refers to the longest night of the year, the winter solstice, and marks the beginning of the Rauhnächte. It symbolizes the rebirth of light, the beginning of the new year and hope. Many of today's Christmas traditions have their origins in these pre-Christian Yule traditions.
