For the 15th time already, all the children will wake up the Baden Christmas lights, the beautiful work of light art.
«Glöggliverteilet» in the Cordulapassage
The golden bells (Glöggli) are distributed at 17.15 in the Cordulapassage. Then the procession starts through the darkened Weite Gasse to Schlossbergplatz.
We wake up the light together
On Schlossbergplatz you will hear the «Liechtergschich». You will learn how the light came to Baden during Advent and how you can all wake it up together.
... and «Spanishbrödli» afterwards
After the Liechterwecke, at about 17.45, all the children will be served a delicious Spanishbrödli, a puff pastry, from the Baden bakeries and hot mulled wine for the grown-ups.
